About Strenghtening Families Program
Strengthening Families Program is an evidence-based program designed for families with youth ages 12-17 that is recognized both nationally and internationally. The program teaches communication skills, emotional skills, and parenting skills for families. Some of the benefits of the program include

Parents and youth attend 11 weekly SFP skills classes together, learning parenting skills, life skills, and refusal skills from certified instructors.

About East Bay Regional Coalition
The East Bay Regional Coalition follows the regional task force model of the Department of Behavioral Healthcare, Developmental Disabilities & Hospitals. It is comprised of members of municipal prevention coalitions and other community stakeholders from Barrington, Bristol, East Providence, and Warren.
The Coalition views prevention through a broad lens, considering similarities and differences among cities and towns, incorporating health promotion and substance misuse prevention strategies across all age groups, and coordinating events to increase collaboration and sustain prevention activities across the region.
